The story setting of ‘The Nightingale’ is in ancient China about the friendship between the emperor and a nightingale. I used a traditional Chinese style window grilles as the main structure with 2 nightingales and Dunhuang basic floral pattern in the middle of the windows.The floral pattern actually used the symmetric change of music symbol G-clef (𝄞) and F-clef (੭:). Birds shows the meaning of wisdom and spirituality. With the combination of Coin-like window structure, it further brings out the symbolization of happiness, prosperity and good luck.
